Mountain Bike Trails and Clubs in V0K2E0

Hey, that's pronounced, "vock-too-ee-oh" to those of us in the South Cariboo!

The 100 Mile House and South Cariboo is a great place to ride your mountain bike. There are trails accessible right from One Hundred Mile House town itself, and lots of trails at 108 Mile House Ranch as well.

There are two main places to start in town, at the ski trails south of town or in Cedar Park on the town's east border. 100 Mile House is small so it isn't hard to find things. The trails from Cedar Park will take you up the old ski hill and there are lots of old roads and tracks in this area.

From the cross country ski trails south of town you can stay on the ski trails or venture off onto single track for more fun riding.

The best way to find out about group rides is at the local outdoor store, 100 Miler Gear Garage, where Dwayne Chamberlain will get you stoked for a ride. Usually the group meets on Thursday evenings around 6pm and decides where to go.

The other great place to ride from is "the 108", which refers to the vast network of single and double track trails just east of the 108 Mile Ranch Historical Site on highway 97.

I'll try to get maps of the different areas on here.
